What is Hard Water? The original source of all the water we use is rain, which is itself soft. However, once the rain falls to earth it runs through the rock strain and dissolves from it metal salts such as those of Calcium and Magnesium. In many areas of Britain the water coming from the mains or a borehole is a solution of these salts. This is called HARD WATER because of the hard deposits caused in water systems when the salts come back out of solution like a rock turning back to rock.
Some of the problems caused by hard water are:

Eczema Sufferer?? Although there is no proven scientific link that using softened water helps eczema a high proportion of Eczema suffers reported a distinct improvement is their condition. This could also be due to the fact that a water softener reduces the amount of soaps and detergents required which can also cause irritation.
So start feeling soft today order a water softener!!
A very cost effective way to solve these problems is to remove the dissolved ‘hard’ metal salts from the water, replacing them with ‘soft’ salts which do not form scale. This can be done using one of our wide range of automatic water softeners, from compact time clocks regenerated water softeners to large high capacity duplex water softener systems.
